Matt Owens, Pastor

Matt is the founding pastor of Christ the Redeemer Quincy. He and his wife, Naomi, met in Boston and were married in 2015. Liam was born in the summer of 2017, and Luke was born in February of 2021.

Prior to coming to Quincy, Matt served as a pastor in Somerville, Mass. Matt grew up in Bloomington, Illinois. Before moving to the Boston area, he went to college in Tennessee, worked in business in Nashville, and served churches in Ireland and Birmingham. Matt received his M.Div. from Beeson Divinity School.

Besides being a Pastor, he loves spending time with Naomi and the boys, Cubs baseball, and studying history.

Becky Campelli,
Music Coordinator

Becky is a Massachusetts native and lay contributor in the areas of music and community impact at Christ the Redeemer. Having formerly participated in a local choir and wind ensemble, she now serves as one of the vocal leads for CTR’s worship team. Becky is conversationally adept in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and is always eager to learn about a new language or culture! She is a creative at heart, taking to crafts and photography when not on the job.

Sam Ng,
Ministry Assistant

Sam serves in the areas of church administration and discipleship at Christ the Redeemer Quincy. He previously served as a pastoral intern at the Boston Chinese Evangelical Church. He has a bachelor’s degree in biblical and theological studies from Gordon College and a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He also serves as the Youth Pastor of Union Church in Foxboro, MA. Besides serving in ministry, Sam enjoys animated movies and card games.
